At some point in time Thor got in trouble during an apparent bungled gold deal and was apparently robbed of about USD$120,000. Michael was advised by Thor and told him the reason he was fronting the newspapers was for a media awareness campaign and publicity stunt to highlight the dangers of gold dealing in Africa. Michael was never told about the robbery. Thor is referred to in newspaper articles as an Italian national. Whilst in Kenya Michael observed Thor was living in a state of Cooper’s Code Yellow, more like Orange, and was at one point in time paranoid about people sitting by themselves in a cafe.
